Play for a share of $300,000 with a special World Record Tournament on June 16, including $25,000 for the winner and cash prizes for thousands of others. In addition to the huge prize pool, you also get to be part of poker history as we aim to set a new record for the biggest poker tournament of all time. The target is an incredible 225,000 players, and you can take part for just $1. PokerStars last World Record Tournament was in December 2011, where 200,000 players helped set a new record. Russia's 'sokoluk1991' won the tournament, which was certified by Guinness in a special ceremony at EPT Prague. Don't miss out on being part of our new World Record attempt!
How to Play the World Record Tournament
This special tourney has a buy-in of just $1 and takes place at 13:00 ET on June 16. It has a fixed prize pool of $300,000, including $25,000 for the winner. To buy-in directly or register for a satellite, open the PokerStars lobby and click 'Tourney' > 'Special', or search for 'Record' using the Tourney Filter. Please Note: The tournament will be capped at 225,000 players, so be sure to secure your place early. There will be no late registration for this tournament. Contact support@pokerstars.com if you have any questions about the World Record Tournament or any other 100 Billion Hands Celebration promotion - where a total of $5,000,000 will be awarded across all events.
    Good Luck!

How about, don't wait for pocket aces...and don't get involved with any other PSOer's you recognise at your table...

Unless it's the FT of course

I am looking forward to it, but suspect it will be short lived. Just got to fade 150K players to get ITM.

I am looking forward to this tourny although it will be extremely hard to win it should be easy enough to cash . When i play these big fields (although not normally this big) i generally tend to play nit poker as this is basically a freeroll you will be called with almost any 2 at times plus the players go out so quick you will have cashed in no time see you guys there lets hope a pso member takes it down umbup:

Less than 10,000 places left with an hour to go. Double check you're regged and ready to go!

Good luck everyone. Take down the Russians for the win!
