Could we please have more audio lessons as these written ones are taking too long to read and cuts into my playing time :P If it is audio then we can listen while we play.

Well we have just got Lou Krieger over the audio lessons and hopefully in the New Year Nolan will be taking the audio route too.

    Glad you enjoy them

      Multimedia lessons

      Yeah, yeah, Yeah.

Since we are looking for more expansive teaching methods. Let's think outside the box for a minute.

      1. We've got audio lessons. 8)

      2. Suggestion: Multimedia lesson - simulated final table play. Showing (a) Nine players at a poker table, (b) playing a game of poker, (c) various size stacks of chips, (d) Showing the hands of the players as they act in turn for the hand in play, (e) Describe (text window) the thoughts and mental process for the players action (bet, check, fold, raise), (f) Video-play one hand each week (make it a random dealt hand or pick one from the hand analysis list), (g) This could be set-up like the videos were done for the WSOP videos.

The play description could give a couple of options for the play to be made and then, the optimal action and why it's best (read on the play, pot odds, odds to make the winning outs, etc).

The video could be taped and made stop action for Text Window pop-up while showing the hand under consideration and any board cards being viewed.

These videos could visually express the process of playing a hand of poker. Especially impressive to the novice player trying to learn the game or players needing to fix a leak in their play. Videos could be limited to 10 to 15 minutes each. Would not necessarily use live players (would be good though), could use video depiction of PSO table action.

Sounds like a plan (is it feasable) :?:
