    Dec. 3rd, playing Omaha hi/lo, i found myself at the last table, facing nine of the best Omaha hi/lo players. tough and agressive were these players. seat 8 seemed to not engage in any of the pots, his stack was growing smaller. soon it became evident that he was not at the table. each time the big blind came around to him, he withstood the onslaught. winning just enough to make it to the next big blind. player after player with huge stacks were raging a war. casualties began to fall, firtst 1 then 2 down. seat 8 facing the big blind again wins enough to make it around again. 3 , then 4 players fall. seat 8's all in big blind again manages to get a 3rd of the pot. he goes on to finish 4th in the money. he never bet. but he LASTED!!! this player is tough and aggressive. i wonder how it would have ended had he played his regular style.

    i guess what the moral of this story is, when facing tough, agressive players, the power of just holding on, not getting involved untill you have to, can make a big difference. oh, by the way, congrats to Adam Schramm he was the player in seat 8.
