  • Stars to open for NJ?

    Looks like Stars will soon be up and running in New Jersey, partnering with resorts to offer us online poker once more. Waaaaaa hooooo!!!! now I can get back to donkin' it up online again on a site I trust!

    Did they win the court case? I know that they've proposed to do this but that some groups (read: other casino interests and THEIR online partners) were attempting to block Stars from being licensed.

    IF this is settled and Stars gets licensed anywhere in the US that would go a long way to their getting licensed for any federal legislation to come along. Wouldn't necessarily guarantee anything but would be a big boost in the right direction.

    Here's hoping.

      It is pending state gaming commission approval, and not sure about the court case, but teaming with resortswas a great move to more quickly expedite that approval w/o actually having to buy property (as with the whole atlantic club deal that fell through)
      I can't figure thiz damn link thing out on my phone, but there's a 2p2 thread in NVG regaurding this move if anyone's interested.
