  • Taking Notes is AWESOME

    Hey there

I have been on a bender playing lots of :

    1.50 9 man Omaha Hi/lo SNG

I had decided at the beginning of the year to start using NOTES on players as a way to keep track of opponents tendencies, as in the SNG world, you will play them often, and numerous times a day even.

I am at a 9 man table right now, and 6 people are highlighted in yellow, and I find that this is making it easier for me to play against them overall. I have notes about the hands they play, the hi/lo the tend to go for, the hands they have shoved preflop when I was not in the pot, and it makes a big difference.

Never underestimate the NOTES !! It only takes a second to get info on players you might play 100 times a year.

Absolutely Skiny! One of the first things I ever heard about note taking was that 'Poker is a game of incomplete information' and the more information you have on your opponents the better decisions you will be able to make against them. Dave, aka 'TheLangolier' has a great video in the Archive section that can be found here - Effective Note Taking You might be interested! Good luck at the tables! Raiser umbup:

Keep expanding on those notes. They're invaluable.
May the tinfoil protect you. MT
