Hey all is it just me or are people sick tried of being called names while your using your 10 seconds to thing of how to play your hand. It seems that if you don't play @ their speed you are an idiot or some other name in their language or you are given the ZZZZZZ. I don't think that this would be aloud in a live tournament. Is it just me or does anyone else feel the same way. Your opinion is greatly appreciated.

I often use the time to ask if they are late for a date?

But no it doesnt bother me one bit...let them rant and get mad till they tilt and spew chips all over the table.

                          Ah yes....names/words like....

                          Privet, Zaebal (Ukranian/Russian I believe)

And of course a deliberate mis-typing of my username (no prizes for guessing what that is lol)

And then the other day some guy from Honduras was typing out words which suggested that he loves to cheat at Scrabble.... IE not a consonant in sight

I for one ALWAYS get this EVERY PSO OL tourny I play. So how do I respond? Hmm...well it depends on my mood...

"listen donk if you're feeling sleepy then F*** off to your bed and let us decent players get on with timing out and folding every hand"

"tired already? you've got no stamina dude...and no poker skills either you impatient bingo playing tard"

"i dont take orders from a (insert nationality here) who wouldnt know what poker was if poker got down on its knees and sucked his..."

"aww whats the matter? is the local bingo hall not open till 11am on (insert day of the week here)?"

"keep typing out your Z-bombs d**chebag. it aint gonna make me go any faster"

"to me a poker tournament is like sex. i want to get as deep as possible. but you? you cant wait to get it over and done with in 1 hand (shake). do you suffer from premature ejaculation by any chance?"

"oh so thats why you typed zzzzzz? because you couldn't wait to shove with K9off like the impatient donk that you want me to be?" PS would you like a tissue to wipe the cum that has just arrived on your trousers?"

"sticks and stones may break my bones but names in a foreign language that i dont understand at all will never hurt me"

"i will resist the urge to go to google translate and find out what your insult actually means"

The thing is....I used to get annoyed by it to the degree that I would block chat and also chat bubbles. One slight problem with that....it makes playing OL that little bit more tedious. Thinking up an insult to type gives me something to help keep my focus on the table.

On the flipside though...the other day I had this table (a couple of Canadians and a Belgian among others) who seemed to be completely unbothered by me timing out every hand. They did ask me (politely) why I was timing out every hand rather than just descending into "Z-bomb mode"...so I gave them an honest answer....

"I aint playing for $5.59 at the end of the tournament. I am playing for $1500 at the end of the month"

At that table, I was blinded/anted allin a couple of times and survived. And they were actually pleased that I won, which was quite a nice change

I multitable profitably, and need my clock in order to do that. People who don't get that probably can't one-table profitably, so I chuckle at them whenever they hate on me in chat. Anyone who thinks people who clock are ruining the game need to go to an actual casino and take five minutes to play a hand there. Then they can come back and whine at me when I take twelve seconds to fold pre.

Thx Mcgameboy i agree with you. l always thought that poker was 1) a gentleman's game ( most important) and 2) a game of skill and luck.
