  • Hands per Hour

I never really noted this, but how many hands can you play on NL full-ring table in an hour, average?

This is for a cash table, not the bingo/donkaments.

Take a look in the lobby. Look under the average hands per hour column. I don't play FR, so I don't know.

When Americans could play, I noticed the average number of hands ran about one per minute, which translated to 60 per hour. Based on what the ring game list shows, that seems to be an accurate barameter. Of course the number of hands is affected by the number of players at a table. Nine players on a table will average around fifty per hour, while a six-player table that is full will average around sixty-five. The fewer players, the more hands. I can remember many tables with just three players averaging over the maximum count of 150 hands per hour.

If you're asking about the tournaments, those depend on too many factors. My personal average ran around forty-five hands per hour.

To put that in perspective, a dealer who is good will average 27 to 30 hands an hour. An excellent dealer will average around 30 to 32 hands per hour.
