good point but I was wondering if it would be best to stay where Iam and just play more games? or would I need to raise it to like the 3.50 50/50s and go up to the 10c/25c NL ring games and say the 5c/10c PLO8s? to gain the 150VPPs in a month??

First and foremost, you must stick within your bankroll management guidelines. If you're not sure of those, you should visit the bankroll management forum and have a look around.

The 5/10 cent HE games is what I was on before Black Friday. They can easily get you to 150 vpps if you can multi-table just a little. I didn't think I wanted to at first, but building up from 1 to 2 etc...I found 4 to be a good number for me. I used to only go for 20vpps to remain active in PSO, but I was attempting to clear a bonus and I smashed 150 in no time with 4 tables of 5/10 going. Once in a while, I'd have 3 of them and one 10/25 cent table going to get ready for my next jump when the BR allowed.
          Just my .02.

Here's a fast calculation You need to spend twice as much to get vpp's in a mtt and sng For example. you'll need to spend $300 to get 150 vpp's In cash games it's much much less I'll edit this post when I do the calculations for the cash games umbup: If you were to play .25/.50 cash game and fold every hand, you need to play about 900 hands and you would lose about $80 and still get 150 vpp's

TY Dan & thnx Da Sens for the link
ok so even before the change I was gonna go with 3 5c/10c ring games to get my 20VPP so sounds like just do what I was gonna do but I will have to obv stay on it a bit longer to reach the 150VPP but going with the 3 tables should be sufficient eh?

You can get vpps fast if you play ring games. Try playing two tables on a table where the big blind is higher than .10c
Try to play at tables that are short handed because you get vpps faster.
