  • ESPN to offer same-day WSOP coverage

    Six days of the World Series of Poker will be shown on the same day with a half-hour delay and showing hole cards for the first time

    Days 3-8 of the WSOP main event -- scheduled for July 14-19 -- will feature 34 hours of "live" poker on ESPN, ESPN2 and ESPN3.com featuring unedited play and hole cards.

      What a bizarre thing to do after their immediate running away from ALL THINGS POKER starting the 16th.

      I mean, I like it, and I'll be watching... But. Weird turnaround for them.

          I'd like to know if there will be live commentary. I assume so, but I wonder who's doing it this year, since the format's all different. I'd also like to know if any other events are being covered (c'mon... PLO $10,000!!!). I think that when I get back from work, I'll read that article.
