Since Pay-Pal will not be dealing with on-line casinos as of Nov. 24, 2001, I am looking for another company use.

Does anyone have experience with Net-Teller or FirePay?

    Thanks for any information.

I haven't played online for money in about 6 months, but back in the day, I used both Firepay and Neteller. Didn't like Firepay, but thought Neteller was nice. Set it up to deposit directly into my bank account, took 2-3 days from time of cash out at pay site for the money to be in my bank account.

I've heard rumors to the effect, however, that neteller isn't as good as it used to be.

why is paypal not dealing with online poker sites?

they just gonna stick to the money making porn sites?

if they are gonna take a moral highground i think they need to take a look at the whole system

I'm not sure paypal is taking a "moral" stand at all. I suspect it has more to do with the fact, that recently some judges in court cases have held debtors not responsible for credit card debt incurred at casino ATM machines, as they were "addicted" and not in their right state of mind. I have no info on why paypal has made this choice, but some sort of "loss/liability" fear makes more sense to me than a moral stand.

My recent experience with NetTeller wasn't that great. Unlike Paypal, you have to first transfer money into your neteller account which takes 4 days to appear, then you can make the transfer out to purchase chips. Likewise, the transfers back are slow.

My experience with Firepay is dated, but I don't recall it's any better than Neteller

i was not happy with firepay, and i would not use them ever again!!!!!! i have never used net teller, just because paypal has been so easy and fast. i think the reason that paypal is doing it, other than what goddess has said, might have to do with the fact that they have somewhat merged with ebay and the credit card companies may be putting restrictions on them, such as gambling sites. so in order to stay in business, they will no longer allow any gambling purchases or cashouts. it has happened with a lot of different companies in the last 2 years. i guess, we may have to just figure out a way to get brick and mortar rooms legalized in every state. i for one would love it!!!!!

PayPal was bought up by E-Bay. E-Bay's policy has always been "no gambling"

Sorry Ironside but the judge is addicted to mary as well. He just doesn't want to admit it.

I used Firepay and will never use it again. I took a month to cash out despite 5 or 6 telephone calls to their service center (at least you could call them!).
