Thanks Monk, I have been in same situation many times(K10s) as DEMONTIS7 thread. Called and Raised only to lose the vast majority of the time. I don`t do it anymore, except late position, and always RAISE! I have one other starting hand I can`t figure out, .A10s UTG or UTG +1.What 2 do. RAISE,Call, I usualy fold because I just don`t know how to play it early.

Hi there,,,here's my mindset for starting hands UTG or UTG+1,,,and I don't deviate too often.
    I only open w/:
    Category 1 hands,,,AA KK
Category 2 hands,,,QQ AKs AKo JJ
    Category 3 hands,,,AQs

I pretty much stick with this in EP

Bye the Bye, i believe QQ IS a category 1 hand, and all the rest are category 2.

I guess that depends on which book you look at.
I have seen AA, KK QQ JJ and AKs all listed as Group 1 hands.

                  ??

Hey Chaps-- if you ever feel like u are playin a lil too loose- which i dont think is the case-- but anyway this helped me awhile back-- even though the BB is a blind bet- it is considered a Raise to the small blind-- so if you limp- you are "effectively calling a raise"-- when i figured this out-- i simply stopped limping all together--in early or middle pos..-- gl monk..
