OK here we go. Why is it that I can play so well for an hour or two then I play like a total idiot and get knocked out? Last night I was playing well then I play ace eight like a first day fish and get knocked out of a tourny filled with people I really respect. I am so embarrassed and perplexed I almost quit. I mean, I have been playing over a year and still make rookie moves like that. Well as I logged on to give my goodbye speech someone offered to send me the money to get active for next month and I remembered why I play here. It's not the poker it's the people. So even though i am at a loss to explain my bad play I will plod on like a blind donkey looking for poker nirvana. To all those I have pissed off while on tilt I say my bad. To all those who have helped me in my attempt to be at least a halfway decent player I say thank you. I have a long way to go but without the friends I have met here I would already be done. Dang it, long post shoulda blogged. See you out there.,

And if you play basic, tight aggressive poker, you will not only grow your bankroll, but you will get some nice VPP's.

Hang in there. And trust me, you're not the first person that has made that play. Shake it off, learn from it, and see you at the next tourney.
