  • Four Color Decks

Still asking. Going blind (just kidding) and would like to know if this feature will be added. Any news? I have requested this several times dating back to June. I received a reply that it would be done and that it was just a matter of creating the cards?

If you are not going to do it please let me know and I will stop asking.

    Thanks,
    Glen

PS Blind Bat you do not need to reply again. LOL

We're still in the same boat, I'm afraid... It is indeed just a matter of getting our graphic artist to create the cards, but that seems like a next to impossible task sometimes with the constant stream of new things she has to work on. We still plan to implement it, the problem is that other things keep jumping in front of it on the priority list. I'd suggest individually e-mailing Mark or Tina if this particular feature is important to you (referring to others there, I know it's important to you Forrest...:wink.

I've never understood why people want 4 colour decks??? I've never seen them used in any casino so why on the web?

Thanks Shawn. I guess I am the only one here who wants this.

            AHA,

A four colored deck uses blue for diamonds and green for clubs. They have them at just about every other poker site. It helps (me at least) to better see the suits.

              Rake,

Sorry you feel this way. On my computer it is tough to tell the clubs from spades. I have been asking for a while and it really helps me. For some reason in real life (casino) games I have no problem differentiating but on line I must strain my eyes to tell them apart.

                  Me too.

In fact the red used here is so dense that in the wrong light, even red/black can be a problem (but I'm a creaky ol' codger)

I read somewhere that one can go and edit the card images on the hard drive. Any clues?

Most sites give you the option to choose the four colored deck or use the standard two colors. Everyone wins...

I use the 4-colored decks whenever available. Spades, clubs and bifocals are not compatible.

And I have made the mistake in a B&M casino, thankfully I realized it before it cost me a lot of chips. It might have been interesting for two players to declare the nut flush tho.
