  • Where's the Dean of PSO?

    From Mike Caro's classroom:

"There will be at least one or more new audio lessons per week. Each audio may take a few moments to load completely once you click on the link, but it is well worth the wait. "

"After every four weeks there will be a multiple choice test over the audio lessons. Passing the test will result in additions to your bankroll."

But there hasn't been anything new since 8/5/02.

Peace, Starrs LSOGC - The James Gang

I also thought there was going to be an audio hand analysis once a week... last one 7/15/02, going on three months ago.

Student hand analysis requests are also not getting posted.

Mike Caro has been communicating with me and promising to send me the audios, which i have not yet received.
I know that Mike recently moved house across several states into the middle of nowhere and he has been trying to set up an office for the past 2 months.

He says that he wants to wind down his duties as dean in the school, and doesn't want to be on such a tight time schedule to deliver the audios on a weekly basis, He will supply audios to the school, but on a more irregular basis.

Re Mark and the hand analysis.
He promised one per week, and had good intention of doing this.
He actually enjoys doing the hand analysis, but since the first one just does not seem to find that quiet space on a regular basis to submit them.

We have purchased a voice recorder for Lou Krieger and he has started to submit his lessons now via audio.
We are intending to start these in the school very soon.

Both Mark and I are of the same opinion, that many of the teachers that join the school, will not stay for an indefinate period.
The school work is quiet time consuming and also many of the teachers specialise in one topic, so feel that there is only so much to say.
We are continually looking to add new teachers, material and perspective to the school, and we feel as long as when our older teachers leave they leave their material for the benefit of the students old and new, and we continue to find new teachers, then everyone will be happy.

I would love to have some input in the school from some of the professional players and have tried on several occassions to put a project of this nature together, but the problem being is that they spend most of their time playing, and are not really in agreement to submit material on a regular basis, as their bankroll must come first.

I am delighted that our 2 newest teachers took the task onboard of having a forum, this brings a new perspective to the school, and the interaction between the teachers and student is great to see.

            Regards
            Tina

I would kill to see something from local lad Julian Gardner, just a one off sort of life story thing, think about it, he really doesn't need to watch his bankroll now, lol, so he may just do it for free!

Please don't take this too seriously, I'm just slightly impressed with the kid

Maybe i could start a new section on the school, Tips from the Pro's.
It is so difficult to get any of them to commit to something on a permanent basis, as it is with the writers, but i am willing to email all the players i have in my email files and see what i can come up with.

                    Keep you posted
