  • AA turn line on less than desirable flop.

Hello. around 500 left in Bigger 22. Player 7 is a very good pro with TAGish stats, we have history, I'd like to assume we both think each other are good and not worth deliberately going after. As evidenced by him showing on river.

On turn any thoughts as to whether bet fold or check call is better overall.
Of course if bet fold is preferred what about once called and J rolls off on river?

    Thanks in advance

    Hi PA,

I think check/calling is fine, it seems difficult for him to have too many worse hands that are worthy of giving aciton on this flop... AK would 3b preflop a lot, so basically we are limited to KJ/KTs and a few draws like JTs. I would expect him to be pretty pocket pair heavy, if we can induce a bluff that's probably the way to go. If we don't think he'll bluff these types of hands, then bet is better to avoid allowing him to realize his small equity.
