  • Raise or call the flop c-bet?

It is $11 Super Stack tournament on FTP with 12min slow blind level and 5000 starting stack. I want to know what to do on the flop and what is our plan for the turn? I find his c-bet a little weak like he can have over cards for eg: KQ AK AJ, so I was thinking if I should raise him there and protect my hand ! Hi adi,

I prefer to call in position, as our hand strength doesn't really warrant bloating the pot with a raise vs. what is probably a pretty strong range opening UTG from a very passive preflop player. This also gives us the ability to see what the BB does before putting a lot of chips in the pot. I'm not married to this hand if we get bad news before our next action opportunity.

The sizing dictates a call imo, but raise is a pretty heavy overplay for our hand strength.

What's the plan for future streets, like if he check-check turn and then bet river?
or he bets the turn again on a rag card?

I will play it by ear based on sizing, and what the other player does. As I said, not married to this hand and ready to dump it with enough bad news. Prime examples of bad news: The other player not folding (check/raising is particularly bad), large turn barrel sizing, cards rolling off that are good for his range. Good news: other guy folding, small sizing/checks to us, cards that improve our equity.
