  • $11 Phase tournament , How to deal with loose fishes?

It is $11 Phase tournament with 2 Day's (Phase 1 = Day 1 and Phase 2 = Day 2). I am playing Phase 1 where I need to survive 15 levels and it has 10mins blind level. How should I have played this hand street by street? And what to do on river? Reason I checked the flop was to keep the pot small, plus free cards will most likely help me then help him unless the free cards give him some stupid runner runner flush So If I am ahead on the flop I will most likely remain ahead on the turn, also betting the flop will not get calls from worst hands there except or and , which are drawing strong any which ways against my 2nd pair & all the Kx are already beating me. It would be much easier if you used the hand replayer Adi, you can delete the bottom part of the hand history to hide results or stop the action at a certain point.

I think how you played the hand is reasonable and I'd fold the river, this size doesn't look very bluffy and he could very easily have a heart.

Whether to CBet the flop or not is tricky. Check/calling twice is certainly reasonable as like you say, there aren't so many flush draws that he can have that we have to be scared of and checking allows us to control the size of the pot. However taking the passive line OOP is always tricky, so I can definitely also see some arguments for CBetting.

I folded in the hand so I don't know the result but thanks for the tip I didn't knew we can hide/delete part of the hand we don't want to show in the PSO hand replayer.

I didn't c-bet for one more reason is if I c-bet and he raises me I will be in a confusion if he is doing that with Kx or just a flush draw. What do you think is the solution to it?

And if I c-bet and he calls me? Does that mean he is drawing to straight or flush most probably rather then Kx?

            Draws or Kx are possible.

So why checking the flop is not best play here, only coz we will be taking passive line or is there a logical reasoning to it also.
