  • Is this okay shove?

It's $11 Phase event with multiple Day 1 and Day 2 being the final day. On Day 1 it's very weird structure unlike normal games where you play Day 1 for 7-8 hrs, in this game you need to play 2 hour 20 mins and Day 1 is over. Then on Day 2 you return to play until the winner which I think will be 4-5 hours. It has 10 mins blind level. So only 14 levels on Day 1. And It was second last level of the Day 1. I was thinking of maybe not shoving coz I was in early position and I had to shove over a UTG raise which will not open light as Phase 1 is about to finish. STATS :

With the blinds being where they are and your stack size i believe it was an easy push. kind of surprised he had AK off and not a smaller pocket pair.

      Hi Adi,

I don't track with the assumption that he's opening tight because it's close to the end of day 1. Maybe he's opening wider to exploit the tight players! Regardless, we only have 9.5 bb's vs. an open from a guy who's been active in his first 2 orbits. This looks like an easy shove to me.

Also the fact we're close to the end of day 1 is more incentive for me, not less... I don't want to be tied to returning on day 2 with 5bbs or something micro-stacked if I can avoid that.
