  • Shove or fold?

This is SCOOP $5.50 Satellite and I was far from getting a seat. I have 13BB only. I know with 10BB or less it's easy shove as I follow : http://pushfoldcharts.com/fullring/

What should I do here, min-raise and fold to a shove or go all-in directly.

Hi adikumar2010! With 12BB, when it folds to me with JTs in the cutoff, I have two choices, to shove or fold. I cannot do something in-between, as I cannot afford to make a standard raise to 2.5BB and then fold. It's too many chips to leak off and I'm too short stacked. If I had about 18BB or more, then I would make a standard raise to 2.5BB, but on a shorter stack, it is definitely not an option. The first thing to look at is the opps left to act behind me. All 3 of them are tight, so this makes me lean toward a shove. I then go to the chart that I use and I get this range for open-shoving from my position and stack size: 22+ Ax+ K6s+ KTo+ Q8s+ QTo+ J8s+ JTo T7s+ 97s+ 87s 76s JTs is well within this range, so I'm shoving. Hope this helps and good luck at the tables.umbup: John (JWK24)
