  • CannonLee - Fixed Limit Hold'em Heads Up SNG - Session Video Part 1

Hi everyone, The other day I saw this thread >>click here<< posted by ForrestFive about making an audio/video recording of a session for forum hand analysis as opposed to text. I really like this idea!umbup: Below is a HU FLHE session video that I played versus an unknown opponent, I had absolutely no reads for the first 10 hands. I'd appreciate some feedback on my play and if you'd like suggest alternative lines. I've made the videos speed +50% to make for a much shorter duration and I've also added some background music that should be pleasant on the ears. CannonLee

Hi Cannon, Nice video. The FL game is basically unknown to me so I can't comment on the play. If you talked through the session it would be good to learn the game and your decision making process. In FL Heads Up do you open your button 80% of hands or tighter than NL? Then when you got a read on your opponent, I saw you label them, what did you see in their play? Was it something exploitable you used later in the session? umbup:

I think for cash or tourney hand analysis.. this has great potential and possibly a nice alternative to the "current way of doing things". I'm not sure if a live video of a session is in context with analysis threads... but if you consider hand reviews:

      1. you can do a video capture of the hand with a hand replayer.
      2. describe the hand and what you are requesting to be analysed.
      3. via replayer, show/mention hud stats relevant for streets and/or villains.
      4. via replayer, show popup stats that you consider relevant for the hand.

ie. you could probably verbalize the post/problem so much better via video, than typing, and it may be easier for analysers/contributors to spot areas during your thought process which needs attention.

Hi Marc, You got it spot on for a review, narrating your play, either using the forum replayer, Universal Replayer or even broadcast your browser window showing a saved Boom hand. And you get a saved video on YouTube from what you are streaming live. So using this #hangout method it could be live if the training tool throws a wobbly. There are skype chat groups here at PSO so I don't know if you can attach a poker table window. But with this you can live broadcast your full screen or one poker table window (we rail) and have a chat window like live training. This has so much potential even if only for a few poker friends to rail and chat live. umbup:
