Hello, Sapines1001! I like the way you played here. IMO with 12,5BB stack and KQof isnt worth here to go all-in in 5way pot preflop agains two loose and two semi-loose players. I think this is ungrateful shoving spot where most of the time we can be called by Ax or 44-88 and be behind. I think call pre and fold to any raise on the cold board is ok here. I will shove my KQof against tight/passive players which allows me to collect 1300 dead money. In KO tourney, when everyone needs my head, against loose players I just flat. Good luck!umbup:

Hi sapines1001! With KQ from the SB, I get 3 limps in front of me. With a 12BB stack in front of me, this is a perfect situation for a squeeze and my stack size is perfect for it too. I'm absolutely going to shove here as I need to accumulate chips and with a shove-stack, I want to be the first one into the pot by shoving, not calling a shove with a hand like KQ. I don't have much fold equity left, so I want to maximize what I do have. A standard raise pot-commits me (5.5BB), so if I play the hand, I need to shove. I don't want to call here and have a hand OOP that is easily dominated. I'm also going to be squeezing fairly wide here too, especially if the opps are most likely to fold. I actually made a play like this (less chips in my stack) with 57s in my live league last week. Hope this helps and good luck at the tables.umbup: John (JWK24)

Then I think I missunderstood this play..So we don't care that this is 4way pot and players are loose, we just shove? I just want to make it clear for me Thanks!

          Hi MyNumber7!

The reason I'm shoving here is not to play a pot against multiple opps, I'm trying to steal the chips that are already in the middle, as this over 40% of my stack. Having KQ to go to showdown with is my backup plan, just in case I'm called. If I had more chips, I'd make a standard raise to 2.5BB+1BB for each limper... but this bet would pot-commit me (put over 1/3 of my stack in the middle), so I either need to shove or fold.. I can't do something in between.

then i think folding KQ is weak play and also calling KQ doesn't work well in 5way pot so shoving is the best. thank you
