villain was loose is my play correct ?

    I wouldn't shove here...

He may be loose, but the raise is small looking to get some action. The big stack has the luxury to play more hands and make steals from late position. A call obviously was dangerous also, as you would have likely shoved the top pair. I know you are getting low on BB, but it would be better to play the Big stack in position...

    That's my two sense...

      I would have folded.

Had it been folded to you, i would've shoved.

          Hi jokr02

This isn't by any means a terrible spot to shove because I believe that villain will fold a lot of the time but I think it's best to pass up on spots like these pre ante. We still have some time to wait for a better spot, the next blind level will have ante's which means we can get away with open shoving wider preflop 'which I would prefer to do rather than reshove all in and hope for a fold in the spot that you took'.

          Cheers, Chris.
