Hi quirked! With KTo from the hijack, I'm going to make a standard raise when it folds to me. A standard raise for this blind level is to 3BB+1BB for each limper. I want to keep all of my bets and raises standard, so that the opps are continually guessing as to the strength of my hand. Players that bet more with better hands and less with marginal ones are basically turning their cards face-up to an observant opponent. Due to this, I will raise to 90 as I don't want to raise to less and possibly give the opps the correct odds to try to outdraw me. I flop top pair on a very draw heavy board. When it checks to me, I'm going to make a standard value bet. Bets postflop need to be sized based on the size of the pot, number of opps and board texture. With 2 opps, I need to and will bet 2/3 pot (152 chips). The turn should be a blank and with only one opp in the pot now, I will make a 1/2 pot value bet of 324. The river should be another blank, but with the opp having called a raise preflop and bets on both the flop and turn, I'm going to check the river and hope to get to showdown. My hand does have showdown value but may not be the best hand, so due to this, I'll check and call a small bet or muck to a large bet from the opp. Hope this helps and good luck at the tables.umbup: John (JWK24)
