  • Big 5.5 - cbet or check back?

After a few rounds of a table change, we get a limp from an unknown with 21bbs and its folded to us in the CO with 88; we are sitting with 36bbs. First of all, would you agree with isolating the limper here? Second question: Flop is very wet and it could help his limp/calling range some of the time so do we check back here or cbet (how much)?

    Hi George

Isolating the limper is standard, anything else would be a leak imo.
I'd be checking back this flop, I expect villain to be check shoving over our c bets a lot of the time with all types of hands that we have poor equity against like KJ/Q10/QJ/J10 etc.

Your iso sizing is fine although making it like 3.5 - 4x would be fine too.

    Cheers, Chris.
