u cant reraise flop or turn!
I would make 3 bet pre and flop bet slightly bigger, but as it is not much else you can do. I don't think I can entertain a hero fold without some reads on villain. You only need to be right in calling the river bet 30% of the time, so reckon there are probably enough non-boats that may lead the river (altho it looks super strong).

I think Professor Awe has done a good job of summarizing the hand but I think your bet sizing throughout the hand was fine.

If villain is bad enough to call a 3bet oop with J8 then I think it's likely enough that he would be bad enough to bet the river with hands like QJ/AJ or maybe Q10 that he doesn't think is good. It's unlikely that villain has a flush because I would expect him to reraise you on the turn rather than the river so although we aren't beating much I still feel like this is going to be a call versus this type of villain.
If we had reads on the guy that he only bets big with strong hands then we could find a fold but with limited information on this player I think we're going to have to make the call more often than not and if we're wrong we still have a bunch of chips.

      Cheers, Chris.
