  • $1.00- 90man Final Table with AQ

Hey All, I would like some opinions on this hand. Do I call, fold or shove????? With relevant stack sizes I thought this wasn't a clear cut decision. And was unsure what line to take. with the size of his raise I don't think he has any intentions on folding. His stats are: VPIP 25.5 PFR 15.3 3bet 5.4 over 98 hands Thanks Chuckkky

I think I would shove, He's got less than 10bb's, his hand range is pretty wide. and I think you are ahead and you need double up.

A read on whether he is 3-xing with monsters, would be helpful here.
I think readless it's a shove, and his stats also indicate that he is raising quite loosely.
It's very weird but I would probably fold and wait for a better spot.
If we had fold equity it seems standard as a shove, but villain is obviously calling any shove there.

I think you guys are thinking of it too literally in EV.

We need to consider the ICM implication of play. Look at all the short stacks (<10bb).

The pay differences are pretty significant on the FT of a 90 man, and considering the player next to us has sb left, i'd wait for a better spot later on in the FT.

Because of this I would fold quite happily.

          +1

I think the spot itself is pretty close either way. The options are to shove or fold. I think when a shove is good it's probably not good by much. If it was a 2 x raise I'd feel a lot more inclined to shove. While I don't think shoving is massively -EV in chips it is very high variance and consequenetially -$EV. As birdayy points out we have a decent stack relative to the table we can take a less risky more +EV spot later on to win more $$ in the long run.

I like how the small blind pushes you out of the 3-way pot in hand 8.

Don't like the way you played hand 27.

you were a bit lucky in hand 36
