  • 1.50 hyper first hand 4-way limped

Should I have bet at some point? How to play this better? The price to continue seemed right..

I'm not a hyper turbo regular, but this looks like a very unusual hand.

Preflop I think with over 100 chips in the middle already I think it would probably be a profitable shove spot preflop. Only 10 chips to limp behind we are obviously getting a get price to set mine but I would think the BB should shove a fair portion of the time also. The 3x raise is really bad from BB IMO just bloats the pot as we see. I think calling the raise is fine again as pot is now massive. I probably wouldn't love a shove here as much because we limped the first time and pot is bigger so we have less fold equity and fold equity is massive part of value when our hand is 44.

On the flop another 20 chips to continue but again you are almost getting the right immediate odds to hit a 4 let alone the possible implied odds. I would fold to anything bigger than 20 chips.

Folding to the river shove is good.

    What an odd hand.
