With a pot sized bet left on the flop I think I would have just put it in then. I'm not putting him on AA or KK as I would expect a player as aggressive as this to 4-bet pre-flop. I put him on Ax, broadways and pocketpairs and we are ahead of all that except Qx hands. I don't like checking the flop and calling bets OOP and giving up the aggression we showed pre-flop. The only time I would check the flop was to check raise him all-in knowing he is going to bet more often than not.

Hi Affluenza! Instead of the flop, IMO, the place to look at here is preflop. With JJ, I get a raise to 280 preflop by the button. I want to 3-bet here and a standard bet sizing is to 3X the previous bet (840). However, any bet over 700 chips POT-COMMITS me! Therefore, I need to either shove or fold here preflop and being out of position with a made hand, I'll shove. I don't want to raise preflop, then try to play post-flop, as I cannot ever fold due to being pot-committed. I also don't want to let the opp see an overcard hit on the flop that can beat me, without paying the maximum amount to try to outdraw me BEFORE they see the card they can win with. The key with this hand is to SHOVE preflop. Hope this helps and good luck at the tables.umbup: John (JWK24)
