Hi I was confused by donk pot bet. I understand donks as bets from hands that can't call cbets, it's snap call in a standard MTT, but what to do in a league game? If give up such hands too often I don't think it would be +EV. board is too wet, but I don't think made hands except medium pp would play that way.

Hi Shichi-77! With KK and a min-raise in front of me, I'm going to make a 3-bet and the key here is the sizing of it. I will raise to between 3X the previous bet (720) and a pot-sized raise (750). Since there isn't much difference here, I'll raise to 720. I flop an overpair with a backdoor flush draw and now the opp leads into me with an almost pot-sized bet. Having a premium made hand where I'm only behind 9T or a set, I'm going to shove here. If I'm going to go out of a league game earlier, it's going to be with a premium made hand on a board without many made hands available. If all 3 cards were clubs, then I'm mucking, but with only a flush draw, I'm going with it. Hope this helps and good luck at the tables.umbup: John (JWK24)
