Hi Shichi-77! With this being early in a league game, the word steal should NOT even be a part of my vocabulary... the return will not be worth the risk due to negative league points. With ATs from the BB, when the SB min-raises, I'm going to call behind and see the flop in postion. I flop TPTK and when the opp checkst to me, I'm going to make my standard 1/2 pot value bet. The turn gives me trips, but also brings a flush draw to the board. When the opp checks to me, I will once again make a 1/2 pot value bet. I do NOT want to bet less than this, as the opp can be getting the correct odds to outdraw me. If I give them the right odds and get outdrawn, it's MY OWN fault that I lose the hand. The river should be a blank and when the opp checks again, I'm going to once again make a 1/2 pot bet. Standard bets are a key, as I want to keep the opps guessing as to what I'm playing. Making too small of bets and pricing the opps in to draw, is something that I always want to avoid whenever possible. Hope this helps and good luck at the tables.umbup: John (JWK24)
