  • I assume this is the wrong way to play this hand

Villain was the type to open shove his entire stack , go all in with 1 pair etc.

Cant really think i played this wrong , couldnt hope for a better flop on my BB in an unraised pot . the only hand i am worried about in this spot is 99 but I am pretty sure villain would have raised pre with that .

So should I call his bet on the flop and hopefully get this to showdown or play it like i did ?

I think against that villain, if your reading him as having 1 pair then getting it all in on the flop was fine.

Where were you as far as the stage of the torniment, had the bubble past and your looking to chip up for a deep run?

      Hey fraiser,

With a 5 way pot and a villain who you know overvalues 1 pair hands leading out, I like raising here to isolate him, and am quite happy to play for stacks with 2 pair against such a player and a 31bb effective... well played imo.
