**moved to more appropriate forum JWK24** Hi m.mahauariki! What type of tourney is this from and how were the opps playing (loose or tight, passive or aggressive)? These factors need to be taken into consideration, as they could change the way that I'd play it. If this is from a cash tourney or a non-league freeroll, then I'm going to raise with JJ here and use my standard 3-bet sizing (between 3X the previous bet and a pot-sized raise). Since a pot-sized raise here is larger, I'll go with it and raise to 315. If this is a league game, I'm going to call the raise to 90 and hope to setmine. The flop gives me middle set, but there is a possible straight draw along with 2 opps. I'll play the flop the same regardless of toruney type and bet 2/3 pot. This way, I've bet enough that if both opps call, they are both making a -EV call. I don't want to bet less, as I want to make sure that both opps are making negative plays to try to outdraw me. I then have an over pot-sized raise and a shove. I'm only behind one hand (although there are a number of combinations that could possibly outdraw me), so I'm going to shove as being all-in is a +EV play here. Hope this helps and good luck at the tables.umbup: John (JWK24)
