  • JJ in $3.30 NL Hold'em [10-Max, Shootout, $25K Gtd

please talk about my hand JJ vs AA Level VII (100.00/200.00) again
When one door closes, another opens; but we often look so long and so regretfully upon the closed door that we do not see the one that has opened for us.

Can't see much wrong. Think you played it well, you were trying to trap for to get his chips all in but with that board and without a specific read then the chips are always going in.

I thought about playing this tourney but you have to go for the win at each table and it doesn't suit my game. I think your tournament life was unavoidable in this case .

Hey ussef61 umbup: I think you played the hand ok. Seeing as we are 5 handed I'm not going to fold pocket Jacks to most opponents, the only time I will fold JJ preflop 5 handed would be against an extremely tight player. Flatting villains 3-bet is fine, myself I would prefer to see you 4-bet the hand but flatting is ok. Pretty sweet flop for us and I'm gonna be looking to get it in. Your line of check raising and shoving turn is good I like it, I would of check raised the flop to about 4,400 so that if he does call then the size of the pot will be more than the size of your stack which will make players feel more committed for when you shove the turn. JJ 5 handed is pretty much the nuts imo, nice hand , unlucky. Cheers, Chris.
