  • 180 man $2.50 buyin final table

I just wanted to confirm my thoughts on this hand.

Only 5 bb left this was an instant shove regardless of the outcome right?

I know there was a lower stack than myself but wanted to go for the win there and then rather than be blinded out.

I could of happily sat tight and waited for the low stack or some other players to loose but like i said if you want to win is this the shove to do?

    Hi HoldemAce,

    Yes, Absolutely a shove.

A double up will set you up for a nice run. But even more importantly you have a ton of fold equity here even with 5 BBs since everyone is relatively short. If you pick up blinds & antes you are padding 50% to your stack.

I would probably be shoving most Ax hands here. It depends a little on table dynamics as to how wide/often we are getting called. But AJs is going in all day long regardless of what people are calling with.

Congrats on the final table. Bummer about the outcome.

    Quad Bracelet Winner
