  • 100k Depositor freeroll

In first month when pokerstars make this tourneys with unlimited re-buys there was so much crazy players who re-buy and re-buy till re-buy period end.
    Now there are a re-buy limit to 3 times + 1 add-on.

There are no point to re-buy even 1 time or buy a add-on because probably i will not make ITM or if I do need to get high, because first money levels always are not more than 0,20c.

So i think this tourney must play like freeroll - no re-buys or add-on if you loose your starting stack - leave a tourney.

    Do you play them?
What kind of strategy you use?
Do anyone of you have reached a FT in this tourney?

I think I placed 78 once for around $3, I do not rebuy and just play them like a freeroll. I mainly use them as practice for when I play for real money.

I play a TAG style in these taking into consideration position, starting stack size, aggression and my cards.

Mostly you will find yourself waiting for a hand in push/fold mode playing TAG, when your stack gets below twenty big blinds look for spots to shove all in, recognising the hands to push with is the key in my opinion, dont waste chips limping with speculative hands the chips are more valuable when you decide to push and hopefully double up. I have cashed in these doubling my stack just twice. Of course you have very little fold equity in these tournaments as players will limp and call off their stack for the hell of it so dont bluff, just be patient.

I play these tournies because they are fun and free and a good way to practice my push/fold game.

I placed 32nd the other day, for a few dollars. It took 4 hours. It's good fun and quite good practice playing very deep stacked - but pretty useless for building bankroll or anything else.
