  • I lose a lot .....

    Hi guys,

    This might be a horrible week for with a lot up and downs.
    I started my poker-session at Monday,results till now:
    Monday :Won one tournament 90 man sng 1,50$,so 26.82$ and lose one sng tournament 1,50$
    Tuesday:Also won a tournament 1,50$ and reached 5th place 6.80$
    Wednesday:Cashed out on 12th place 2.38$ and lose 3 sng's...
    Thursday::Cashed out on 12th place,lose 2 sngs
    Today::Lose one sng

    Note::All sng are 90 man and 1,50$ buy-in

    I think,what the f happened to me,i mean...im really confident of my play-style,but this is a little bit ridiculous,does anyone have that too?
    Anyone tips,help or something,i'll appercitate it !

    So i'm thinking to take a break for one day,play at Sunday and then study for 3 weeks ,then i'll see what im going to do....

    *Sigh*

        If you have included all the SNGs you played there (and the way you write it infers that you did), then your post is ridiculous.

        Played in 12 for a buy-in of $30

        Total cash $65.16

        ROI 217%

        What are you complaining about???????

            A 12 game sample size isn't enough to say either way whether you're going to win or lose in the long run. However, a winning player is still going to bust out of a lot of 90 man tournaments, your expectations are unrealistically high if you think you can cash in all of them.

                  I started 1 or 1,5 month ago with poker,i started with 25$ bankroll and played 90 man sng of 0,25$ ,when i had my bankroll at 110-125 dollar( i know you need 100 buy ins for a sng), i started to play at 1,50$ sng .My bankroll is now like 173 dollars

                    It sounds like you're doing really well then, I don't know how much you've played but a 700% increase in bank roll over a month and a half is excellent. Keep up the good work!

                      now im confused, max u win if first in 90 man sit and gos( .25) is like 6 bucks, so u not giving us all the info, so basically i can only say, we need more info, what were u playing before to get up to $110, stick with that.

                        hello hb,a bit of a confusing post i might say,sounds to me like you happily increased your bankroll <br> at a given level? is this correct?

                        You then had 100 buyins to move on to the the next level as such? is that correct?

                        You then are not winning as many as at the previous level? is this correct?

                        Ok if i have read this correctly its a simple answer to you,you say you are confident in your playing style?

                        Playing style for each and every level or format must be slightly adjusted too,by this i do not mean a massive adjustment, but a slightly better understanding of the surrounding dynamics.

                        Hope this helps Just my opinion of cause,but hard fact as i have discovered when using the same style at one format,then the same style on another format,poker is a flexible game, a person must be
                        able adjust to playing styles,and other playing styles.

                        Another words mix it up,a well none quote.

                          The first thing that I'd look at are the stats for the tourneys. How many flops are you seeing and from what positions (BB, SB, others)?
                          What are your numbers at showdown?
                          How many pots are you winning without showdown?

                          If you put in some typical numbers for them, that's a great place to start analyzing your play and from there, I could give you some recommendations.
