To me all of these hands are the same and my question is was this too aggressive? Should I have only bet half or a third of their stack? Looking at these hands now it seems I left myself open to lose half of my chips if someone had a monster hand such as AA, KK or AK suited or not. Most of the discussions I've seen on final table play are from a short to moderate stack and not from a perspective of a dominate stack. evil:

I guess the better way to ask this is when I'm down to essentially 3 players is it safe to assume that if I have the good hand then no-one else does? evil:

I am jamming those hands too, put them in the tough spots and make them sweat. 3 handed the chances of them having a better preflop hand are minimal, get it in while ahead so they have to suckout to win

It's like you're going hunting while wearing a cowbell. It scares away everything you want to catch. This reminds me of Harrington's 'fear of flopping' concept. It looks like you don't want to see any flops because you have no confidence in your ability to play them.

Definitely consider raise/calling as an alternative to open shoving over 20bb.

when you're down to this few of players, you absolutely want action on these types of hands. Make a std raise and hope the opps call. Shoving and getting the opps to fold is losing you value.

These types of cards normally don't happen very often in a short number of players setting, so you need to get what you can from them while you get cards.

Yes, you get the blinds here, but if you get called, you know it's going to be from a better hand... not a worse one you can get value from. In the long run, you'll make more chips by standard raising, then outplaying the opps after the flop.
