  • Did I play too soft ?

This guy ( the one that won the hand) wasn't playing particularly loosely, ( Considering this is a 10c 360 man mtt turbo) He had folded to some larger bets previously, and had shown down some good hands where he won, My Question is... Should I have bet this more aggressively after the Flop ? In that type of tourney, I don't think you're ever getting anyone off Jx on the flop.

Preflop, I like your call, you want multiple in the pot, so you can win more if you flop a set (you 1-upped that by flopping a full house).

On the flop, I'd have bet a bit more, probably about 450-500 and figured that anyone calling it would have a J or a higher pair than me.

On the turn, I'd have checked, becauase now any higher pair OR the last J has me drawing dead. A bet here of 600 won't matter to anyone left, as it's not a large enough % of the pot size to even try to scare someone out. The only thing you could really do here is to shove and if you do, you're in deep trouble, because anyone calling it has you crushed. A mid/high pair or the last J is going to call your bet every single time.

When the turn card hits, it's best to just check it down and fold to a bet.

To me this seems like a situation where the hands played themselves, especially in a ten cent turbo.

Even if you overbet shove the flop it's extremely likely your getting called by 3 jacks.

Though your full house does shrink considerably on the turn, any pp higher then sixes now has you beat like Lucchis QQ.

Against multiple opponents i'd actually consider folding once that third jack hits.

In a nutshell I don't think you played it softly because no matter what you do on the flop your getting called by Iano and maybe even Lucchi.

Edit: Or what JWK said, shouldnt've gone to get the mail whilst writing a post lol
