  • 2nl Cash Table, 44 hit set OOP vs mid position Raiser

his HUD: VPIP 15, PFR 14, AF 3, cbet 66 should I donk 3 str OOP when I hit bottom set vs preflop raiser or how to get more value in this situation vs that Opponent?

As mentioned in an other thread, betting on the flop is the preferred option, as check-raise always looks very strong so even if your opponent has a top pair with a good kicker, he's not likely to continue. He can even call 1 or 2 streets with a pocket pair.

Seems to me the villain indeed had a pocket pair and he misread your turn raise as a (semi)bluff. This time around your trap worked, but this is not to be relied upon.
