  • 2NL zoom-flopping quads,how to play it

I´ve played this hand pretty bad. PreFlop-I was reading news and didnt notice limper, that´s why i bet 3BB instead of 4. PostFlop- Standard check/call,so i won´t scare away anyone Turn- I don´t know what I was thinking back then when I made the min 3-bet because obviously only Q will continue. River- Easy shove to get maximum from Qx My questions are: Should I be the first one who bets on the turn? How to play quads when turn and river are for example 5h and 2c

I usually fast-play quads, and would c-bet this flop, but check-calling is fine too.
Your line is fine from there (leading the turn makes little sense as villain will fold just about anything except a queen, but he'll bet a bunch of hands if you check again). I'd make a bigger turn check-raise, to guarantee getting stacks in on the river. If the turn and river were blanks, I think check-raising the turn is still effective, as villain will still call with Qx fairly often, and you don't want to give him the option of checking behind on the river if you just call. (If you check-call the turn on a blank, a big river lead will look so much like trips+ that villain shouldn't ever call with one pair, but if you check-raise the turn, he'll feel more commited to calling off, because the pot will be so big in relation to stack sizes).

The key idea to think about is "I have a monster hand. How do I get my whole stack in the middle and get a double up?". You usually achieve that by betting and raising, not by checking and calling.
