  • 25NL Zoom: BB vs SB

Opponent is 22/20 (52 hands). Happy to call IP with suited ace vs SB. Flop is a good board to c-bet so call with the intention of calling a turn bet if A, 6 or diamond comes on turn or if he checks I may bluff. Turn bet doesn't give me odds to go for a flush, but my Aces may be outs as well so I think a call is reasonable. Although board is paired so flush may not be the nuts... The river bet is small enough to call with my bluff catcher?

Probably one of the worst hands to call with.

We block his diamond bluffs and his straight draw (56 etc) bluffs on the river.

You need to think about hands on a deeper level rather than he could be bluffing here etc

      Hi carl,

I agree with birdayy, it's hard to see what he would be bluffing with here? I guess he could sometimes be betting for value with a hand like QQ or doing something weird (people do things that make no sense all the time), but it just doesn't feel right imo.

Given the uncertainty, calling isn't horrible or anything, but the profitability is probably close to zero at best.
