  • Set vs Open ended straigth draw

So i got called a fish by going all in with a set vs an open ended straigth draw i a rainbow flop. Was it that bad? I kinda knew he could easly have the draw and still moved in. Was it a fold? It was a set of 7 in a 78t flop. In early stags of an mtt.
Damn i suck at this game...

to determine these things, we need the entire hand history from the hand (with any reads on the opps). without this information, there's no way to tell.

People that call you a fish are usually not very good players. Good players will not call people "fish" or "bad" or "noob" or "donk". They are happy with bad players. Bad players are the ones that give you provit.

In general, a set is a 75% favorite against str8-draw so usually you are way ahead.
Even against a made str8 you have 35% equity on flop.
