Flop is a clear x back.

As played I think it's fine to call off. He called pre so the only hands that beat us are KTs and TT. Pretty narrow.

      Hi Justin,

My plan OTF is to x/f. This is a fairly connected board and although it hits our range from UTG it also hits our villain's 18/11 range. Villain can call us preflop with AK, QQ-22, AQ, AJs, ATs, KQs, QJs, a few SCs mainly Tx type. So when we bet our 88 here we can't expect too many hands to fold and its hard to play our hand OOP with so many bad cards that can come. Also we don't get value from any worse hands and PPs we beat will fold.

Given the run out I'm more than happy to get the money in by the river not only because TT and KT are so unlikely but also because we can expect those type of hands to want to raise this flop atleast some amount of the time given its fairly wet.
