I think if your asking this question you shouldn't be playing 500nl.

        Hi jamiefen welcome to PSO!

Any stats/reads on the V5? Without a read, I would raise the turn since the J is in both of your ranges AND there are now two flush draws as well as a straight draw. By betting the turn the villain might pay us off if he is chasing as well as if he has an overpair for example and thinks we are chasing. If we wait until the river he might miss his draw or fold to a bet if a scare card comes; many ways to shut down the action.

As played, there was enough in the pot already that I would probably have gone for closer to 2.1x raise unless you have notes indicating that he can stack off in spots like this.

Raising the turn is beyond terrible.

ever the diplomat! You should work on plugging that politeness leak...

I would not raise the turn though either. We have position and the board locked up, we don't want to narrow villain's value betting range and eliminate their bluffing range. Even when we have a monster, a big portion of our value is when these hands bet river into us, since they are either drawing dead or in the case of QQ for example, nearly dead.
