First time posting here so please bear with me

villain is an unknown, 45/21/0 50 hands

is it correct to call this raise or it's always flush here? any set or flush would have bet turn

it just did not make much sense to me, maybe set of 4 valuebetting?

i've just moved to 10NL so i'm still in studying mode, any advice about villain tendency in this limit is appreciated

    I'm calling here.

Yeah, it might be the flush, but when we check on the A turn it also disguises our hand strength. He can have worse sets and AQ among other hands.

      thank you for your reply

let's assume he bets turn 2/3 pot, we call then river brick and he fires 1/2 pot again, do we still call?

just ran my equity against 99, 33, AQ, JT, any heart combo and it's 35% so it's justified for a call in above scenario?

Hey grind4food, welcome to the forums!

I think you played the hand well and I would take pretty much the same line here. OTF you may get (semi)bluffed or be up against Qx so going into calldown mode seems good here. Weird villain doesnt bet turn and raises a blank river instead. Still I wouldnt fold as he could be raising some worse slowplays that somehow froze when the flush hit or even bluff with combos like JT/KJ etc. The price is too good and we are very high up in our range here I feel.
