  • [5nl 6max zoom] Taking a shot, flopped a set, massive pot

I'm currently taking a shot at 5NL zoom and up about 4 stacks, a lot of it thanks to this hand:

Do you have a question? Is there something you wish to discuss?

If not, Gratz on the hand and try the Brags & Achievements section next time.

The min raise click back on the turn looks extremely fishy. Just shove turn.

I know 5NL players aren't that great but most of them will probably realise you are not folding when you raise the turn. Just shove it in.

I've had issues previously about smaller raises to get people to come along.

Shoving the turn is a full pot size bet, do you not think there would be more folds?

I just want the betting lead on the river (not that there is much left to go in anyway)

If they are sticking around for your min raise they will stick around for the shove almost certainly. There isn't a huge amount of difference.

If you even take the MP players action as an example, he is willing to call with whatever he has on the turn, god knows what with but I imagine he was chasing something, I'm guessing he was chasing a pair with a hand like AK or something like that, but on the river whatever he was doing, he has missed and folded. What did he have left behind? $1.85. I mean his play is just bizarre but I can see (And have seen) players do this with A high and worse assuming that if they hit they will win the hand.
