  • 2nl reg, good played? T9o

    Seems fairly standard.

Not sure there's really too much to comment on. He appears aggressive though so I wouldn't have donked turn if I knew that tendency.

tbh. I think this was played very poorly.

T9o isn't a hand that you should be opening from UTG.

OTF: I like the bet/call line.
OTT: Why would you lead here? I don't like a DONK here. I would much prefer a X/shove.

seems like a bit of a loose open, but I guess at 2nl you're not going to get 3 bet a ton. I guess as played post I might have x raised ott and if I was going to donk I would have donked a bit bigger.

In general, I agree, but I don't think it is horrible to do so either as a occasional thing.

Its not likely to be hugely profitable when you are up against opponents who will exploit you.

I'd say this is still somewhere near the top of the range that naturo likes to open from UTG.

Fair enough, if he enjoys staying at 2NL then by all means, let 'er rip bud. LOL

Oops misread the hand. I would delete this, would I know how.

                Hi guys,

I tend to agree on the preflop open being too loose for my tastes UTG. If we're opening as weak as T9o here then we are seeding our UTG range with too much junk and it will come back to haunt us in the end.

Post flop as played, I would prefer to x/shove the turn personally.
