  • 25NL ZOOM, KK OOP vs SuperNova

Squeeze probably should have been larger maybe about $3.00... As played XC, XC? Should I just cbet this board? Villain (SuperNOVA)(302):27/21/3.6 TOT 3BET: 16.4 FOLD to 3BET: 0 on 5 samples CALL 3BET: 100 on 5 samples Note: Plays passively +30% with strong hands

    Hi dirt,

I think we can fold the river. What's telling here is the preflop action... this villain is a hyper-aggressive 3-bettor and yet he chose to only flat the initial raise pre. This makes it easier to rule out a lot of Ax hands, but also fits right in the wheelhouse of small pairs, so I think his value range is pretty strong. Will he 3-barrel bluff hands like 55 simply because you're checking? Maybe, sometimes. Maybe not. Probably not enough to bluff catch him.

We also block a large % of flush draws he may barrel off.

I also prefer cbetting this oop in a squeezed pot, x/calling turn and x/folding most rivers.

I was going to fold here. I have notes on this villain, he is a SuperNova but IMO not a very good one. I've seen him make some terribad plays in the past.

I called for information and he turned over AQo... so then again maybe he is good considering he gto me to call 3 streets with KK... LOL
