  • 10NL ZOOM 6-max, Turn/River Play

I was 50/50 folding this turn... Villain SNAPbet this turn. River card seems really good. Pretty obvious value bet spot OTR in my opinion. MAIN QUESTION: Maybe calling OTT is too optimistic? Villain is UNKNOWN.

I don't really think the river really changes too much at all. We were behind to a King, we are still behind to a King, so I dont think, given the action, we should value bet the river here.

If the turn was a fold, I think the river is a check back if we get there, I don't see to many worse hands calling.

Good point in regards to the check back but...

I think 6x,66,77,99,TT would call OTR? I really didn't think the villain had a K... unless he had Kx of clubs but thought he'd bet Kx OTR.

Do you think I should have folded OTT then?

I probably call turn, and check back river, but I am not sure if calling turn is the right move.

I still think he could be doing this with some draws, which play this way to river and then give up. I just think we can only get called most of the time if we are beat, at 10NL, but there are some pretty bad players there too.

          Hi guys,

Worst part of this hand is that the villain is unknown

There's really not alot they rep on this flop. Sure they could do this with A8, J8s, Q8s, T8s, 98s but they can also do this with 6x, 77, 99, TT, FDs, 97s, KJ, KQ, AT, A9, QT, etc. So calling flop raise is probably fine but I think that against opponents who are bluffing the flop will probably bluff this turn so I would call that too planning to call the river also on most blanks against aggressive opponents. When the river is checked to us, I think we can go for thin value but we are folding to a raise always so remember we don't necessarily have to bet this amount I would bet something like 1.87$ and fold to a raise. Villain seems to forget to put in the rest :P
