  • 10NL ZOOM 6-max, AK facing strange line?

Am I ever being bluffed by a worse K here? Villain is really aggressive PostF. Dont' know if this villain type is ever checking back a set/flush OTT... Does my 1/2 pot bet cause the villain to shove KQ, KJ, thinking that I'm value betting AA here? Villain(208): 14/10/6.7 AF

    Hi dirt,

I think you are never being bluffed here. And I think you're asking if you're being bluffed by accident by a K, meaning he thinks KQ is good and is shoving for value. The guy is super tight pre, I don't think so with a flush possible. Don't sell too much stock in the AF being 6.7 over a total hand sample of 208... the guy is nitty so he's starting with stronger ranges in general, and the AF doesn't mean he's real aggressive necessarily... it could mean that or it could mean he simply only continues post flop with really strong hands (doing so aggressively) and checks/folds everything else. IOW the AF doesn't mean he's bluff happy. It could, but it doesn't have to and with nitty preflop stats it probably doesn't. I think it's more likely that he was either A) getting tricky with a turned nut flush or B) flopped KT or a set and checked back the turn out of fear of the flush card (something nits frequently do).
